Field Notes from the Fracture Points
A downloadable book
Field Notes from the Fracture Points is a speculative nonfiction concept album disguised as a zine—a haunted monologue for systems thinkers, soundwalkers, techno-heretics, and the ghosts of futures that never arrived.
Structured like a four-sided double LP, each “track” is a field report: a meditation on grief, judgment, collapse, constraint, and the ritual of asking dangerous questions. Inspired by concept records, dungeon synth, post-industrial memory, and philosophical rupture, this is not a map—it’s a ping in the dark. A cyberpunk artifact built from tactile introspection and epistemic fire.
Written in collaboration with GPT-4 (OpenAI) and Grok (xAI), this zine uses AI not as a shortcut, but as an instrument: a recursive logic sampler, a prompt sequencer, a question engine. Human-edited, human-haunted, machine-augmented.
If Ken Nordine narrated A Thousand Plateaus inside a pinball machine at the end of the world, it might sound like this.
